Snakes
Snakes like all reptiles are Ectothermic, meaning they rely on their environment to regulate their body temperature. The group is very varied containing giants like Reticulated pythons to tiny sand boas or Western Hognose. All snakes are legless and must eat their prey whole, a fantastic process to watch which as a snake owner you’ll find never gets old! The two most popular species in this group are the corn snake and the Royal Python, both are considered small/medium-sized snakes which are easy to care for and very handleable.
